Job Description

The Senior Marketing Specialist position is pivotal in managing and executing marketing projects for the Texas Regional Marketing Team, covering all service lines and sectors. Key responsibilities include content creation, graphic design, and project management for various marketing materials such as email campaigns, web content, social media efforts, thought leadership publications, and research reports. This role is integral in collaborating with corporate Marketing and Communications teams to align with the strategic vision of marketing initiatives and support broader service delivery partners. Managing deadlines and coordinating project deliverables are essential components of this role.

This dynamic position merges business development, project management, and graphic design, focusing on tasks like e-blast management, market and transaction reporting, event planning, and project coordination. Based in our Dallas or Houston offices, the Senior Marketing Specialist is essential for driving strategies that enhance brand positioning and support business growth. As a key player in our marketing efforts, the Senior Marketing Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement initiatives that reinforce Newmark's leadership in the real estate market.

Responsibilities:
  • Run point on business development materials. This includes collaborating with graphic designers on the creation of pursuit presentations and proposals from start to finish, ensuring that materials meet established standards for company branding, messaging, and winning formulas.
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, and RFP responses to strategically position Newmark.
  • Produce results and make design edits. This individual will also use InDesign and PowerPoint to produce entire deliverables or edit existing files for projects as needed.
  • Work well with many viewpoints. This position works closely with the full marketing team, internal collaborators, market leaders, brokers, platform partners, and support staff, and will handle contending opinions and priorities. You'll explain ideas, make recommendations, and get feedback to implement changes.
  • Provide quality control for materials. Proofread business development materials and external/internal communications, including regional market presentations and growth marketing initiatives, ensuring that appropriate content and formatting are used.
  • Pivot and adapt based on priorities/deadlines. Communicate direction clearly with the marketing and project team using our new project management tool and in-person collaboration.
  • Create/design compelling marketing materials including digital, print, and interactive media to enhance client engagement.
  • Create compelling positioning and messaging for Newmark's services and products.
  • Execute marketing campaigns to foster and generate qualified leads.
  • Coordinate the development of marketing collateral, provide technical assistance, and contribute to updating knowledge management libraries.
  • Communicate effectively across various channels while adhering to Newmark's brand standards.
  • You'll serve as the primary contact for smaller meetings/events and support larger events by coordinating with guest services, logistics, and event security with clients and vendors.
  • Maintain and communicate the master events schedule for small to medium venues, assist with post-event reporting, and perform tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate and strategic marketing.
  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).
  • Ability to think creatively, innovate, and implement positive change.
  • Service-oriented, responsive, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services; commercial real estate experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office applications, and digital marketing email marketing tools.
  • Strong skills in project management and organization.
  • A proven track record in B2B strategic marketing and campaign management.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent editing, proofreading, and quality control capability.
  • Strong influencing skills to build partnerships across different points of the business.
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills. Ability to balance several projects at once, prioritize workload, and work to tight deadlines.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies.
  • Experience in campaign management and demand creation processes.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with sales teams and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
