Role Summary: We are on the lookout for a proficient Insurance Defense Attorney to augment our legal team. The candidate should possess robust experience in insurance defense and litigation, particularly with cases related to personal injury, property damage, and liability. This role provides a dynamic environment to handle a comprehensive defense caseload, ensuring top-tier legal representation from initiation to resolution.

Principal Duties:
  • Represent clients in litigation concerning insurance claims, including personal injury, property damage, and liability.
  • Prepare and lodge various legal filings, such as pleadings, motions, and additional court documents.
  • Execute depositions, partake in hearings, and contribute to trial preparations.
  • Facilitate case resolutions through negotiations, mediations, or settlements.
  • Advise clients and develop strategic defense plans during the litigation process.
  • Cooperate with fellow attorneys and support staff to secure favorable outcomes for cases.
Requirements:
  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school in Alabama.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance defense or general civil litigation.
Preferred Expertise:
  • Exceptional skills in litigation and managing multiple cases.
  • Advanced capabilities in legal research, writing, and clear communication.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to oversee a significant caseload independently.
  • Effective at negotiation and teamwork within a collaborative setting.
