The Capture Manager is responsible for the capture leadership of assigned opportunities in support of the Enterprise IT growth strategy. The capture manager must thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals. The Capture Manager will routinely be assigned 2-3 large ($100M+) solicitation pursuits at various stages of capture at the same time. The ideal candidate will have previously served as a capture manager with proven experience supporting Civilian Enterprise IT customers and have a network of contacts.

The ideal individual will also support channel partner development, including the driving of strategic and tactical partnerships with large and small Federal integrators, product resellers, and technology companies. Key responsibilities in this area will include getting introductory meetings, providing Brillient asset/capability overviews, building relationships, and identifying and closing joint pilot, pipeline and go to market opportunities. Additionally, the Capture Manager will assess strengths/features of prospective integrator partners and work with Brillient's digital solutions team to align channel partner activity with company's strategic asset/offering/solution roadmap.

Successful candidates will have the ability to conceptualize a vision for winning, to develop a capture plan that implements the vision and translates into win themes, to adjust the vision as the procurement unfolds, and to focus and manage the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the vision through final proposal submission and assist in preparing the execution team to perform quickly post award.

Qualifications

Experience and expertise performing BD in an information management / information technology/technical professional services firm. Specific required qualifications: 10+ years' experience performing and managing full life cycle BD in an information technology professional services firm(s), with a concentration in civilian government agencies, particularly HHS, DHS, and Department of Treasury, 10+ years' hands-on experience in Federal government agency-related account and capture management and proposal management. 5+ years' experience supporting HHS organizations. Experience with developing proposal solutions, win themes, staffing analysis, and price-to-win (PTW) analyses. Demonstrated experience and expertise as a strategic thinker who can grasp, articulate, and plan the "big picture" in the context of the corporate strategy and associated business plan while concurrently being able to plan and implement related detailed technical and administrative tasks required to complete assigned BD actions. Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in planning, capturing, and winning new business opportunities. Demonstrated knowledge of the companies supporting Federal agencies and demonstrated capability to draw on industry contacts to build partnerships in support of business pursuits. Demonstrated customer management/relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability and leadership traits to operate in an intense, rapid-pace competitive business environment characterized by the following: respond to continually changing requirements; plan and execute BD tasks rapidly; operate in a collaborative team framework; and rapidly learn and apply new skills and knowledge. Demonstrated ability to lead company personnel, teaming partners, and consultants effectively to achieve assigned BD tasks. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project. Superior verbal and written communications skills; expertise in writing documents, to include proposals and in delivering presentations in a highly dynamic environment. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline Desired: Current Secret or higher clearance or ability to obtain a clearance Desired: PMP
