Duties
• Examine/read title documentation such as deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, easements, restrictions, and plats/maps to determine ownership, encumbrances, and to verify legal descriptions of property in Northern Nevada. • Analyze and evaluate records relating to property taxes, federal and state inheritance/estate taxes, liens, judgments, bankruptcy filings, foreclosures, and other records. • Prepare title reports/commitments based on title search, identify title issues to be resolved and what the defined exceptions are relating to the policy. • Prepare copies of documents to be sent to client. • Make notes in applicable applications of any examination issues or comments. • Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
A MINIMUM of three years of experience with the above is required.
