Customer Engineering Opportunity at Fast-Growing AI Startup! Location: San Francisco | Compensation: $135k-$155k + Equity
Are you ready to shape the future of AI-powered developer tools? Our client, a well-funded startup revolutionizing the AI space, is seeking a Customer Engineer who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and exceptional customer service.
The Perfect Blend: We're looking for builders and problem-solvers who geek out on details but can also translate complex concepts into human speak. Imagine having a technical deep-dive with a CTO in the morning, then helping a non-technical user master LLM prompts in the afternoon - that's the kind of versatility we're after!
What You'll Do: Lead technical problem-solving initiatives across front-end and back-end systems Partner with Engineering and Customer Success teams to drive solution delivery Create and maintain technical documentation that actually makes sense Champion customer needs while contributing to product evolution Master support across multiple channels (Slack, email, video calls, Discord) Your Toolkit Should Include:
2+ years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or developer advocacy Strong foundation in API interactions and SaaS platforms Ability to code/script your way out of problems Track record of improving support systems and processes Experience with support platforms (Pylon, Intercom, Zendesk) Bonus Points For:
Startup experience (we love the hustle!) Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI platforms Previous work with semi-technical customer bases Why This Role Rocks:
