Job Description
Ensure all employees are consistently following the standards for USDA, FDA, HACCP and GMP. As well as supervise all functions required of QC and QA. Make sure all food and safety as well as quality assurance requirements are consistently followed and documented properly. Strong knowledge in CAPAs, GMPs, SSOPs & SOPs, allergen programs, HACCP programs, and other food safety programs Lead the teams to ensure all quality and food safety systems are following industry best practices Advise current Food Safety programs to create standards and adjust programs to conform with regulatory changes or internal modifications to ensure conformance is relevant Ensure all of food is safely managed by recording and analyzing necessary critical control point records MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree ideally in Chemistry, Microbiology/Biology, Food Science, or Chemical Engineering. 8+ years of experience in Quality as a Manager or Director. Experience in the food industry is highly desirable Strong knowledge of HACCP, cGMP's, USDA, SOP, SSOP's and GFSI Standards. SQF Practitioner Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus What's on Offer
