The anticipated salary range for this role is between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. SUMMARY:
As a Core Banking Platform Product Owner, you will continuously evaluate our customer interactions from pre-market research through existing customer data to always find new ways to improve the customer experience and exceed expectations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Understands Jenuis Bank's product goals and objectives as they relate to our digital banking core; FIS's Modern Banking Platform (MBP). Identifies the Why and What as it relates to MBP configurations Works cross functionally to accept business requirements from internal teams in order to execute them with our FIS MBP team Owning and maintaining a strategic MBP product roadmap as the single point of contact Build and align roadmap with JB's overall digital strategy. Execution planning with JB Tech and FIS Supports MBP upgrades including but not limited to MBP upgrade version specific product enhancements, availability review and planning as it aligns with Jenius Bank's strategic roadmap Manages product configurations, changes, testing and validation across JB products and services hosted on MBP Provides strategic inputs into the MBP roadmap to support JB functions Understands Jenius Bank current and future strategic needs to effectively leverage FIS product and business relationships to influence the longer term MBP roadmap Influences the roadmap which influences the JB specific MBP backlog of core user stories and acceptance criteria for one or more products or components Participates in Iteration planning and Program Increment Planning activities with MBP in order to manage JB stakeholder expectations Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders, as requested. Applies Agile methods and processes and encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work product. Assists with defect and production incident monitoring, triage, and remediation to minimize Customer complaints and help avoid any financial, reputational, and/or legal risk. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner leading a team of developers/vendors to deliver digital applications to market. Experience with leveraging data analytics to make recommendations and decisions that lead to improvements in the Customer experience and/or business OKRs. Experience leading cross functional teams through decision-making to achieve optimized outcomes. Experience working in an Agile environment and using associated tools (i.e. Jira). Knowledge of financial services industry Knowledge of FIS products and services or similar Fintech solutions Strong negotiation, organization, management, analytical and people skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and systems development environment experience Working knowledge of core processors (i.e. FIS, FDR, TSYS). Experience managing stakeholder groups to align on balancing numerous constraints to achieve an optimized outcome. Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
