About the position:
The Marketing and Graphic Intern will support and enhance the Children's Home mission of helping the kids and families who need it most by supporting existing marketing initiatives and the overall marketing team to bolster agency goals. This ideal candidate will be a marketing, communications, or graphic design student in the local area with reliable transportation.
The marketing intern will be required to complete fingerprints, pass a DCFS background check and complete a physical/TB test.
Duties/Responsibilities: Social Media Management:
Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Graphic Design:
Create simple designs for social media graphics, email headers, and other marketing materials. Administrative Tasks:
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, organizing files, and scheduling meetings. Organize and track CHAIL merchandise and materials. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for marketing and creativity. Familiar with video content creation Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends. Education and Experience:
Majoring in marketing, communications or graphic design in the local area. Experience in design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, and use a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and phone as needed. Equipment Used:
