We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations and support our mission. The CFO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our institution and advancing its long-term goals. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning: Oversee the development and management of the annual budget to ensure alignment with the school's goals and priorities. Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial reports for the school's leadership, Board of Trustees, and other key stakeholders. Financial Modeling: Create financial models and frameworks to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Investment & Risk Management: Oversee the management of the school's cash, investment portfolios, and risk management strategies to protect financial stability. Financial Systems & Processes: Evaluate, refine, and improve internal controls and financial systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Data Analysis: Analyze student, staff, and organizational data to link funding decisions to student success outcomes, providing insights that inform resource allocation and operational effectiveness. Qualifications:

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or in a senior financial management role, preferably in a school district or educational institution. Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting. Experience with investment strategies, risk management, and financial modeling. Familiarity with educational funding structures, state and federal financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team and collaborate with other departments and senior leadership. Preferred Skills:

Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working with financial software systems specific to educational institutions. Familiarity with student success metrics and how financial decisions can impact educational outcomes. Why GISU?
