Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Digital Designer, you will produce creative, comprehensive layouts and high-level designs for deliverables requiring strong conceptualization of ideas in preparation of original art for digital media. You will manage design projects from concept through production and delivery, effectively prioritize work, balance multiple priorities simultaneously, establish timelines and estimates and identify resources to meet customer commitments and deadlines while working effectively in a team environment. Additionally, you will maintain existing web materials, sites and coordinate digital efforts to compliment traditional mediums used for promotional campaigns and product launches.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: Create innovative digital deliverables, including websites, eCommerce interfaces, and email campaigns, aligned with Midmark's brand standards to drive engagement and lead conversions. Implement responsive design principles and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) for optimal performance across devices and user inclusivity. Translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and annotate functional prototypes to guide development teams and ensure functional and visually compelling outcomes. Ability to understand the strategic direction of the internal customer's industry to provide creative, professional, and functional design deliverables aligned with business needs. Leverage AI-powered design tools to enhance creative workflows and produce high-quality, innovative content efficiently. Utilize machine learning algorithms to automate repetitive tasks. Design and enhance eCommerce and other web interfaces, focusing on improving user journeys, increasing conversions, and supporting product launches. Partner with marketing, web development, and creative teams to deliver cohesive digital projects, ensuring timelines and goals are met. Create, monitor, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure performance of key metrics for landing pages, emails, and digital assets, using insights to inform and optimize designs. Apply user experience (UX) principles to create intuitive navigation and simple, effective digital designs that enhance user satisfaction and engagement. Continuously research and adopt emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in digital design to maintain competitive excellence. SECONDARY DUTIES:
Work with marketing communication's design team to grow capabilities. Work with web development team to ensure continuation of stable production environment and collaborate on project work as needed. Mentor other teammates on digital design best practices, industry standards, and train on Midmark's platforms. Assist creative services team with hybrid design projects utilizing Photoshop, InDesign, and other Creative Suite skills as needed. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree is required, bachelor's degree is preferred.2 - 4 years of industry experience, B2B and/or professional services.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:
Ability to present a portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create usable products and clean documentation (websites, email, digital assets, wireframes, etc.) Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Proficient in Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CMS solutions, Figma, and JavaScript, a plus Experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud or print design, preferred Self-directed, proactive, responsible, and able to meet deadline and budget requirements Experience optimizing designs for performance metrics, such as Core Web Vitals Ability to analyze user data and feedback to inform design improvements Comfortable working with tight deadlines and multiple projects in parallel Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, written, problem solving, and oral communication skills Passion for forward thinking digital design Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to excel in a team setting SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
