Job Summary: We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Catalyst SDWAN (Viptela), Wireless Networking - Cisco, Switching & Routing Cisco, and Google Cloud - Networking. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual to manage geospatial projects efficiently and contribute to our company's growth.

Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and manage highly available and scalable datacenter and cloud networks. • Design, implement, and maintain robust firewall infrastructure to protect the organization from external and internal threats. • Monitor firewall performance and manage configuration changes to ensure network security and stability. • Handle EOSL projects for datacenter switches and firewalls. • Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Network, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and NSG. • Manage and configure firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) for optimal performance and security. • Transform the organization by leveraging and enabling automation, orchestration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD). • Serve as an advocate for business stakeholders in IT and help evangelize the role of network engineering technology back to the business. • Present innovative, forward-thinking concepts and technology to improve business processes. • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture by developing and maintaining cooperative relationships, facilitating conflict resolution, and accepting and providing constructive feedback.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. • 5 years of experience in a highly technical professional environment. • 5 years of experience in a network environment working with route switch, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS. • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS/Oracle/IBM networking technologies. • Senior-level experience with data center infrastructure solutions: VPN, Cisco (Route and Switch), Palo Alto firewalls.

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience: • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training. • Airline industry experience.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications: • CCNP - Security, DC, Routing, Switching, CCIE, PCNSE (Palo Alto). • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is desired. • Proven ability to build, cultivate, and promote strong relationships with internal customers at all levels of the organization, as well as with IT counterparts, business partners, and external groups. • Ability to deploy and execute datacenter and cloud network technologies; firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention, micro-segmentation, software-defined network, and software-defined WAN. • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Nexus switches. • Hands-on experience in cloud networking for Azure and AWS. • Extensive experience with data center infrastructure solutions: Cisco (Route and Switch), Palo Alto (FW + IDS/IPS functions), Cisco VPN, and Zscaler VPN. • Extensive experience with programming/scripting languages and frameworks in support of automation, such as Python or Ansible. • Ability to design Ansible networking playbooks (and/or via Python scripts, REST API) for Palo Alto, Zscaler, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS. • Good hands-on knowledge of Panorama and its template hierarchy. • Comprehensive knowledge of routing protocol BGP (community strings, route maps, route filters, attributes). • Strong experience in building site-to-site VPN tunnels for both Cisco and Palo Alto platforms. • Strong communication skills and ability to work with business to deliver project timelines. • Proficiency with tools like Power BI or the ability to create dashboards for projects. • Proficiency in IAC for cloud and datacenter deployments.
