Qualifications: Candidates must have a CT State License from the Department of Health as a Registered Nurse. Candidates with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
Responsibilities: Act as a substitute in the absence of the regular RCA nurse. The nurse provides health services to students at the Regional Center for the Arts (RCA). The school nurse dispenses medications, assesses student illness, provides first aide and may also administer medications and provide care and general first aid and illness screenings. In addition, the nurse at RCA helps with general procedures such as arrival and dismissal.
