Driven by increasing demand from consumers for snacking, meal replacement, energy, and healthy treats, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in Henderson, Nevada.
Job Responsibilities
Essential job duties and responsibilities
include the following; however, other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.
· Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
· Responsible for both mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance to ensure operational efficiency of all electrical and mechanical systems
· Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs ensuring staff maintains high quality work and professionalism
· Responsible for preventative maintenance program of entire facility including maintaining proper documentation and performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
· Coordinates with others in management to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation
· Responsible for having extensive knowledge of the function, department processes, cross-departmental teamwork, and ability to train subordinates
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production directly, through subordinates, or outside contractors
· Read, interpret, and train subordinates on equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
· Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, maintain spare-part inventory, performs testing as needed
Responsible for the maintenance of the facility; to include all areas of the facility are operational and functioning Responsible for plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions directly or through subordinates or outside contractors
· Maintains equipment documentation files including prints, manuals, and other pertinent information.
· Detect faulty operations, defective material and resolves directly, through subordinates, or outside contractors
· Maintains clean and orderly work areas
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
· Responsible for always following all FDA & GMP’S. Trains subordinates to do the same.
· Responsible for following ALL Plant Safety Rules and OSHA Rules: understand and follow plant safety rules including/but not limited to safe lifting practices, safety on machine operations. Trains subordinates to do the same.
· Maintains a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment for subordinates to use in performing their duties
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Associates of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred. 5 years of manufacturing experience required; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC required. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.
Skill Requirements & Certifications:
· Excellent communication, written and grammatical skills.
· Ability to read, speak and write in English
· Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) plant safety and OSHA requirements
· Proven success with working in a team environment.

Salary Range
Starting salary is dependent on factors such as work experience, education, location, skill sets, market demand, and company budget. $85,000 to $125,000 to start, DOE
