Job Description

Interplan is a national architectural and engineering firm with a legacy spanning over 50 years. We specialize in designing innovative spaces for restaurant and retail brands nationwide. Our Orlando office is expanding, and we're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team and drive our brand presence and client engagement efforts. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Managing Director to support strategic vision and growth initiatives through innovative thinking and teamwork Develop and implement lead generation strategies to build a steady pipeline of potential clients Conduct research to identify new leads and opportunities in target industries Further qualify and nurture leads generated from research and marketing campaigns. Host meetings with potential clients and identify their needs Initiate outreach efforts through email campaigns, cold calling, social media, and attending networking events. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to foster new business. Support development and maintenance of client personas, target audiences, and client journeys to align marketing efforts with client expectations Identify new business opportunities, proactively expanding Interplan's market presence while leveraging CRM for pipeline management and tracking engagement Prepare sales presentations and proposals to the specific needs of potential clients Maintain a strong social media presence in partnership with marketing to drive brand engagement while generating fresh content ideas to showcase Interplan's services and values Track and manage leads using HubSpot Update sales stages Maintain a clear and organized pipeline Work with Business Development Manager to coordinate and attend trade shows, client conferences, and client events to enhance brand awareness. Regularly report on outreach and business development results, providing insights to the Business Development Manager on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis as needed Qualifications & Prior Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred 4-6 years of experience in business development or a related field, ideally within an architectural or engineering setting Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills. Self-motivated, goal oriented, capable of working independently Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Suite Superior critical thinking and strategic thinking skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset Willingness to travel for conferences and client meetings A "hungry, humble, and people-smart" approach to professional growth and team engagement Compensation & Benefits
