Biosolids Market Leader . MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE The selected candidate will manage the technical and financial aspects of large projects and possess strong leadership and people/client skills. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, marketing to existing and potential clients, and representing AtkinsRéalis in the community. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with company leadership and technical professionals to increase AtkinsRéalis' water business in Georgia. This includes identifying key clients, developing and managing strategic relationships, managing the regional project pipeline, and providing strategic leadership for key projects. This individual must have a background in the planning, design, and/or construction of water/wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants, distribution/collection system pipelines, green infrastructure, and water supply systems. Demonstrated experience with biosolids management is a plus. How will you contribute to the team? MARKETING AND CLIENT MAINTENANCE Maintain positive client relations with existing clients and build new relationships. Develop, implement, and monitor annual and strategic marketing plans for targeted projects. Investigate and evaluate new or expanded opportunities for associated projects and services. Participate in civic and professional organizations to maintain visibility and professional courtesy. CONTRACTS AND FINANCIAL Conduct contract negotiations with clients and sub-consultants. Develop and recommend operational budgets for approval by senior management. Monitor monthly performance against budget to ensure project profitability. INTERNAL STAFF ADMINISTRATION Assist management in identifying staffing needs based on future workload. Review recommendations for hiring, transferring, or terminating project staff. Conduct semi-annual performance reviews and annual career planning sessions. PROJECT PRODUCTION AND MANAGEMENT Assist project staff in developing work plans and reviewing schedules and budgets. Oversee financial performance of projects and assist in identifying potential problems. Monitor compliance with established quality control standards. What will you contribute? Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; graduate degree preferred. 15 years of experience since B.S. or 14 years since M.S. P.E. license is required (GA preferred). Excellent technical and interpersonal skills; strong financial management and leadership skills. At least 12 years of technical experience preferred. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Demonstrated experience in project management. Experience working with Georgia cities, counties, or authorities preferred.
