Director of People Culture
to collaborate closely with leadership and employees, fostering a positive workplace culture while contributing to the achievement of strategic business objectives. This multifaceted role will play a crucial part in aligning People strategies with the organization's overall business goals. The Director of People Culture will take on strategic, consultative, and advisory responsibilities beyond traditional HR functions. The right hire is the key to shaping our culture and ensuring organizational success. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a
mentor and coach
to other members of the HR department. Duties/Responsibilities: Trusted Advisor: Act as a business partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders and people managers. Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies. Strategic HR Planning: Work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives. Develop and implement HR plans that support company growth. Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues while promoting a positive and inclusive work culture. Talent Acquisition: Lead the Talent Management process, identifying current and future talent needs. Develop action plans to mitigate associated risks. Performance Management: Partner with leadership in the performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career pathing. Training and Development: Collaborate with the learning and development team to identify training needs and create development programs. HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure policies and practices are compliant with federal and state employment laws. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding Management: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes. Change Management: Support the organization through periods of change and growth. Recruitment: Lead improvements in recruitment processes and facilitate interviewing. HR Metrics and Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management. Other Duties: Perform other duties as requested or directed by management. Required Skills/Abilities: 7+ years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or related fields. Proven experience in advising and change management. Demonstrated knowledge of HR industry practices and strong integration and strategic planning skills. Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assimilate new information. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required. Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time for company-related meetings, events, or projects. Education and Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines. Bachelor’s degree is required. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Salary On-site position located in Arcadia, CA Compensation: The salary range for this role is between
$110,000
and
$130,000
annually, depending on experience, education, and other factors. Benefits: Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment. Eligible for vacation time after 3 months of employment. Eligible to use sick time after 90 days of employment. 7 paid holidays per year. Eligible for the company’s matching 401(k) plan after 90 days of employment. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to
15-20 pounds
