Sr. Backend Software Engineer, Service Engineering Applications

The Tesla Service Engineering Applications team is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop products that streamline and enhance our service operations. You will build systems that help our service teams respond more efficiently to fleet issues, automate routine processes, and create tools that enable rapid problem resolution across our energy products.
Responsibilities
Design and implement microservices to automate service engineering workflows and processes Create reliable, scalable services that improve the efficiency of Tesla's service response capabilities Work with other platform teams within Tesla to develop and improve service interfaces Build automation tools that enhance our service team's ability to quickly diagnose and resolve fleet issues Contribute to the product roadmap, collaborating closely with service teams to identify opportunities to improve our tools Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong experience building backend services in Golang Experience with event driven architectures Experience with CICD practices Experience with k8s Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures Experience with battery systems and power systems preferred Compensation and Benefits Benefits

$120,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
