Obion County Schools is accepting applications for a 260 day School Bus Technician.
Qualifications for School Bus Technician
Must have 2 years mechanical experience or certification. Diesel engine experience or certification preferred. Computer Diagnostic skills preferred. Must have, or be able to obtain within 3 months, a Class A CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements. (Must be 25 years old to obtain School Bus Endorsement). If not 25 years old, must be at least 21 years old to obtain Class A license with P Endorsement and a limited S with student exemption, and then obtain S Endorsement when you reach 25 years old. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and a federal background check. Must be available to start work immediately after being hired and passing all mandatory drug and background checks.
