We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of systems and applications including NetSuite ERP systems. As a System Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining platforms, integrating third-party applications, and ensuring that the assigned applications meet the evolving business needs of the organization. Other responsibilities are:
Design, develop, test and implement systems that support the organization's goals and needs. NetSuite Development: Develop and maintain custom scripts using SuiteScript 1.0 and SuiteScript 2.0 to enhance and automate processes within NetSuite. Create and manage SuiteFlow, customize workflows, forms, records to automate business processes and improve system efficiency. Integrate platforms with third-party systems (e.g., RF-Smart, SPS Commerce) using APIs, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, web services, or middleware solutions. Manage data migration and transformation between systems. Testing & Troubleshooting: Lead system audits and troubleshoot complex issues, applying advanced knowledge to resolve problems and enhance system stability. Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, configurations, integrations, and processes. Provide clear instructions for end-users on new functionality. Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that improve business operations. Provide end-user training and support for new functionality. Assist with ongoing system upgrades and patches. Monitor system performance and optimize solutions to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues as they arise. Participate in project planning and provide technical insights to guide strategic decision-making. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered. 3+ years experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteScript (1.0/2.0) NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteCloud Developer, Administrator) a plus Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics industries along with Warehouse Management Systems (RF-Smart or similar) is a plus Proficient in creating workflows, custom records, forms, and fields. Expertise in integration frameworks like SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and Web Services. Experience developing in multiple systems and applications including integrations and migrations. Proficient in NetSuite SuiteScript 1.0+ Strong knowledge of NetSuite's modules (e.g., Financials, Manufacturing, Order Management, Inventory, etc.). Experience with integrating applications with third-party systems (APIs, EDI, web services, middleware solutions). Experience with SQL, JavaScript, XML and other web development languages. Familiarity with SPS Commerce or similar EDI systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to application functionality and integrations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver solutions on time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and end users. Ability to work cross-functionally with business teams, IT staff, and external vendors. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough testing of customizations and system changes.
