We are actively hiring for a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. This role delivers mental and behavioral health services to clients in the community, and requires travel to meet with clients in Bladen, Columbus, and Robeson County.

Job Type:
This is a full-time position working in the community (this is not a remote position). This role requires travel in the following counties: Robeson, Columbus, and Bladen.
Travel Required:
This role consists of at least 80% of your time traveling to meet with clients in the community.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexibility to accommodate client schedules.
Job Duties:
Assist program participants in the development of skills, confidence, and relationships as they resume independent living. Assisting consumers in articulating personal goals for recovery. Provide direct peer counseling based on your own lived experiences. Help participants understand and employ recovery strategies. Assisting consumers in determining the objectives the consumers' needs to take in order to reach their recovery goals. Assisting with setting up self-help groups. Teaching problem solving skills. Teaching how to identify and overcome fears. Supporting vocational choices. Assisting in building social skills. Attending treatment team meetings. Role modeling recovery experience. Assisting with housing. Identifying self-help strategies. Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Completed a recognized Peer Support Training Program Completion Certificate Valid Driver's License and proof of current car insurance What We Offer:
