Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, is seeking internship-trained or experienced emergency doctors. OSVS is a large and busy 24-hour emergency and specialty referral center serving Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southern Massachusetts. We offer state-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, fluoroscopy, and advanced monitoring equipment. Our staff includes specialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, emergency/critical care, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, and avian/exotics, as well as experienced emergency clinicians. check out this video!

Continuing Education:
We place a premium on continuing education with daily case rounds, in-house education for doctors and technicians, and continuing education forums for referring veterinarians. We offer a well-respected internship and residencies in emergency/critical care and surgery, promoting a didactic atmosphere and ample teaching opportunities. Our support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education.
Unique Opportunity:
This position offers emergency clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility alongside a large group of specialists. Emergency doctors work weekday inpatient shifts, managing critical care patients and benefiting from the referral hospital environment. The desire to continue learning and teach interns and student externs is essential, along with a good sense of humor. Opportunities to split time between the RI hospital and our satellite facility in Massachusetts are available.

At OSVS, we foster a supportive environment with sit-down rounds to discuss all patients on the emergency service. Our ER clinicians, many with over 10 years of experience, continue to learn every day. Despite having grown to a staff of over 50 doctors, the hospital maintains a family feel, and our people know that we care about them.
Compensation: Base salary plus production Relocation and signing bonus available Benefits:
