Job Title: Systems Integration Analyst
Position Summary (major areas of contribution):
Develops, administers, maintains, and supports software applications. Ensures correct functionality and accuracy of the interface or conversion scripts. Relies on direction and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision from Business Systems Manager.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities: Provide end user support for ERP (NAV), HRIS, Avatax and other in-house business systems. Plan, test, and implement solutions through research and discovering alternative ways to provide end-users with an optimal resolution to problems. Assist financial analysts, production staff, and other end-users with reporting needs including report creation and modification. Develop programming specifications through interaction with business unit subject matter experts. Manage contractors to deliver on requirements. Create, maintain, and optimize JET reports. Design advanced SQL queries, scripts, cursors, stored procedures, triggers. Optimize and improves SQL code for better performance. Assist with the delivery of releases and changes to Test & Verification, along with any needed Applications Support Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, and system interfaces. Present technical information in non-technical terms to co-workers and management Prepare and updates technical documentation. Provides Database support in SQL, and Excel environments. Source and create end-user training document, when applicable Seek opportunities to streamline and enhance current process. Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
Ability to work independently. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly absorb information and become a subject matter expert. Strong written communication skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to organize multiple projects and to react to shifting priorities without compromising any of the projects. Broad knowledge in application software, technologies, and networking systems Ability to create and execute test transactions. Intermediate experience in MS Excel and MS Query Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Ability to resolve complex data problems by applying technical solutions. Ability to monitor and resolve database performance issues. Ability to document database designs and conversion maps. Familiarity with data corruption and database recoverability methods Experience in SSRS or Power BI Additional Skills Desired (not required):
