Bridge Engineer

Job Description
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer for their team in Colorado Springs!

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering tasks (structural analysis, project design, cost estimates, and design calculations)
• Work closely with multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians
• Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget while preparing project documents
• Develop new/improved techniques/procedures
• Work closely with project managers to ensure design work is executed properly and potential issues are addressed so project goals/objectives are met
• Assist with project scope of work/schedule
• Attend client meetings
• Supervise, coordinate, and review work of junior staff
• Mentor/train junior staff
• Maintain data in project management system
• May travel to project sites

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• PE License
• Proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
• Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Lpile, SPColumn, MDX)
• Experience designing plate girder/prestressed concrete bridges using AASHTO LRFD

Salary is commensurate with experience.
