Assembly Operator Level 2

Simpson, a leading manufacturer of racing safety products, has an opening for a full-time first-shift production Assembly Technician position at its New Braunfels, Texas, location. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with strong technical/mechanical abilities and a self-starter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/repair automotive racing and/or motorcycle helmets
• Inspect helmet components before assembly to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Integrate helmets with air and/or electronic systems
• Perform other product assembly operations as required
• Cut webbing/fabric to support sewing operations

Qualifications

• Great attention to detail
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions/documents
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• PC skills are a plus (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Works well in a fast paced environment
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays as required

Education:

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED

Physical Demands

• Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
• Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling
