Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will contribute to the implementation of a world class financial accounting process.

Responsibilites:

• Assist with monthly and yearly closing process of the company and its subsidiaries.
• Participate in preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintains and reconciles various schedules required for closing process.
• Uses analytical skills to solve problems and understand accounting functions.
• Prepares and reconciles general ledger entries to trial balances.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required by Management.
• Oversees and reviews analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounts.
• Assist in preparation of annual financial audit work papers.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance required.
• Strong technical accounting skill including GAAP, proactive, detail oriented and accountable.
• Minimum five to seven years of experience in accounting required.
• Valid Driver's License
• Proficiency with Excel
• Thorough knowledge of Sage is a plus
