Position Summary

This position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with BSA/AML regulations and contributing to the overall Financial Crimes Compliance efforts of the Bank. This position requires a keen This position, based in Wisconsin, plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with BSA/AML regulations and contributing to the overall Financial Crimes compliance efforts of the bank.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and File Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs): Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review Cash Activity for Aggregate CTR Filing: Conduct thorough reviews of cash activity, identifying transactions requiring aggregate CTR filing.
  • Manage Monetary Instrument Log Entries: Maintain meticulous records of monetary instrument transactions to meet audit and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare Designations of BSA Exempt Persons: Generate and submit exemptions of individuals or entities exempt from certain BSA requirements and complete annual reviews of exempt persons.
  • Conduct Daily Tasks Critical to BSA Compliance Department: Execute routine tasks vital to the smooth functioning of the BSA compliance department, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence Reviews: Perform comprehensive customer due diligence reviews, identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks.
  • Review Transaction Monitoring Alerts: perform triage review of monitoring alerts for potential identification of suspicious activity.
  • Act as a Liaison Between BSA Compliance and Other Bank Departments: Foster effective communication and collaboration between the BSA Compliance department and other bank departments, facilitating coordination and adherence to laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-5 years of experience in Banking or Other Financial Services
  • Introductory to Moderate understanding of BSA/AML regulations and compliance
  • A passion for all things related to Financial Crimes Compliance
  • An ability and comfort in working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
