Position Overview

NCG is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) to join our dynamic Danville team. In this role, you'll support clients across multiple service types by leading therapeutic interventions, facilitating crisis response, and helping clients develop essential mental health skills. Through tailored, trauma-informed care, you'll empower clients to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Location: Danville, VA

Compensation: $27-32 per service rate
(Compensation based on education, licensure, experience, and other factors)
Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management & Documentation: Maintain accurate case records per licensing and Medicaid standards, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Crisis Intervention: Deliver responsive support and intervention during crises, helping clients stabilize and navigate challenging situations.
  • Individualized Service Plans: Develop, coordinate, and implement service plans that reflect each client's unique goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Trauma-Informed Counseling: Provide person-centered, trauma-informed, and psycho-educational interventions that align with treatment objectives.
  • Individual & Family Counseling: Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions based on your credentialing, supporting client and family engagement in treatment.
  • Collaborative Communication: Maintain regular communication with professionals across systems, including schools, juvenile justice, social services, and healthcare providers.
  • Professional Presentations: Present case updates in formal settings (e.g., FAPT meetings, IEP sessions, court) to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with the identified population.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure (e.g., Resident in Counseling, Supervisee, Associate license).
