MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project accounting controls including:
- Manage Work Breakdown Structure/Cost Codes in ERP
- Review and direct the correction of job coding errors
- With input from Program management, manage job budgets in ERP
- Process program invoices and interface directly with government customers to support collection efforts
- Manage change order pricing workbook
- Support repricing efforts on Program contract modifications
- Support ad hoc analysis including commercial pricing analysis, utilization studies, change order pricing
- Take part in program planning and status meetings to ensure financial support is in place
- Participate in effort to create, monitor and maintain estimates to complete (ETCs) and estimates at completion (EACs) of various contract line-item numbers (CLINs)
- Support continued process improvement including in Program financial reporting and invoicing
- Participate in monthly financial reporting and job cost discussions with Program and senior leadership
- Understand contract structures and delivery obligations
- Analyze and report financial performance variances of actuals to budget and forecast
- Identify and maintain risk and opportunity ledger; assist with mitigation and recovery plan
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related required
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience; Defense Contracting experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate with key stakeholders on complex program issues
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced Excel skills including building and maintaining financial models
- Project accounting experience
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV (preferred)
- Knowledge of Government contracting (preferred)
- Hybrid in-office and WFH
