The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Jr. Accountant Pay Range:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Salary: $51,413 - $64,263 DOE

As a Jr. Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing daily financial transactions, assisting with grant reporting, and keeping our general ledger accurate. Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Prepare bank deposits, journal entries, and assist in month-end financial processes to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Grant Reporting: Support the preparation and submission of financial reports for grants and state contracts.
  • Account Reconciliation: Maintain the general ledger by reconciling accounts and ensuring timely financial reporting.
  • Inventory Accounting: Accurately track and manage inventory records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the finance team and other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
What Success Looks Like:
  • You efficiently manage financial transactions with zero errors.
  • You submit timely and accurate grant reports.
  • You ensure all accounts are reconciled and the general ledger is balanced each month.
  • You communicate clearly with team members, offering solutions and support.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field AND 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Experience with general ledger accounting and inventory management.
