Contributes to enhanced patient support program for underserved individuals receiving care at FCCC, Temple University Hospital location; assists in data collection related to social determinants of health from patients newly-diagnosed with cancer; collaborates with other clinic staff to navigate patients to needed educational, support and treatment resources including clinical research opportunities. Assists with monthly follow-up calls to patients during diagnostic and treatment process. Assists with collection and database entry of program outcome data from patients. Identifies and performs face to face or telephone recruitment of oncology patients for donation of biospecimens for research; reviews Informed Consent document with patients who are eligible to participate in research; draws blood from participants who consent to blood donation and oversees transport of specimens to the laboratory for processing.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Bachelors Degree : Healthcare related field (Preferred)

Experience
1 Year experience in patient engagement and/or recruitment (Required)
1 Year experience in Phlebotomy (Required)
1 Year experience in oncology research (Preferred)
General Experience with Bilingual English/Spanish language. (Preferred)
