This role will primarily focus on managing a high volume of invoicing, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, and assisting with special accounting projects. OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Invoicing: Process 300-500 invoices per day with high accuracy.
• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Year-End Close: Support the year-end close process, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring accuracy for financial audits.
• Special Projects: Handle ad-hoc accounting projects, as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and financial reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized records for all invoicing and accounting documents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or invoicing (preferably in a high-volume environment).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices (300-500 invoices daily).
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
