Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will support the production team in ensuring the efficient operation of the manufacturing processes. Your role will involve handling machinery, assembling products, maintaining a clean work environment, and adhering to safety standards. You will work closely with team members to meet production targets and ensure product quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
- Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Record and report production data and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing raw materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in manufacturing processes or machinery operation are a plus.
