The Position:
The Facilities Manager plays a key part in supporting our 200+ hospitals with facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations. This integral member of the team will assist in coordinating repairs and/or replacements for various building systems, and ensure general facility maintenance. They will collaborate closely with the Field Operations Team, Equipment Manager, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient facility operations within budget.

The Position:
The Facilities Manager plays a key part in supporting our 200+ hospitals with facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations. This integral member of the team will assist in coordinating repairs and/or replacements for various building systems, and ensure general facility maintenance. They will collaborate closely with the Field Operations Team, Equipment Manager, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient facility operations within budget.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage, track, and oversee routine quarterly and annual maintenance for all of our facilities (includes HVAC maintenance, seasonal facility maintenance, etc.).
- Leverage third-party vendors to complete work as needed.
- Ensure maintenance of property as needed, including but not limited to signage, lawns, fencing, parking lots, drainage, gutters, roofs, trees, and more.
- Own the management, tracking, and oversight of routine governmental compliance for all our facilities (includes fire inspections, backflow preventors, etc.), with support from Legal.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local requirements, including but not limited to the department of agriculture, state veterinary boards, and fire department, with support from Legal.
- Primary contact for Field Operations Team regarding routine facility maintenance issues and repairs as needed.
- Work with the real estate portfolio team to develop and adhere to budget for facilities maintenance.
- Manage and track open invoices while working with the accounting department to ensure timely processing.
- Process insurance claims for damage to property or facility as needed, following procedures set by Legal.
- Monitor Zendesk ticketing system to ensure timely responses to requests for facility maintenance.
- Manage minor renovations and assist Construction Manager on Capital Projects as needed.
- Travel may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Facilities Management or general construction/trade experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (inclusive of Excel).
- Good verbal and written communication skills-fast typing is a must.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience required.
- Ability to manage time effectively and independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
