TITLE:Salesforce Technical Lead
HOURS:Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES:
Design solutions for the prioritized capabilities that come out of the product increment planning each quarter. Assist in getting the user stories detailed down to the technical steps, own the creation of the technical requirements for the work that is assigned. Assist in the Salesforce platform road map and release plan. Create the estimates for investment into the business case in partnership with business product owners. Assist in creating proposals, requests for bid and lead/track all vendor development where applicable. Own and create the detailed design documentation for the prioritized capabilities. Conduct research on complimenting tools and technologies landscape to justify recommendations and to support purchasing or optimization efforts. Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, and perform peer code reviews Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Pardot), integrations with back-office systems (often through the use of middle-ware tools) and complex data migrations. Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment, often working with other members of the team Implement, deploy and document projects that leverage the Salesforce.com toolset. Post-delivery work with client teams in supporting the live application and perform hand-off and transfer activities, positioning our clients for long-term success. Perform hands-on technical Salesforce development and implementations, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. Work with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Salesforce platform. Assist in creating the deployment playbook for all releases, provide detailed tasks for the technical areas of the deployment, encompassing back-out plans and communication plan. Lead the release to ensure smooth deployment into production. Implement CI/CD tools and drive efficiency through automated deployments. Assist in creating the Salesforce platform release calendar. Continuous monitoring of the Salesforce platform code coverage, test class coverage and keep track of Salesforce org health metrics. Track interdependencies with partner team towards successful sprint completion as well as deployments. Validate that the product has been correctly packaged before deployment and ensure that all release controls have been satisfied. Manage risks and issues that may affect release scope and schedule. Participate in release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews. Work with release engineers on impacts of branches and code merges. Lead and co-ordinate the go-live.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Five (5) years in any occupation with Salesforce technologies experience must include: Salesforce platform programming languages: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component framework; Lightning Component development experience; Lightning Design System framework; Declarative Force.com development tools such as Process Builder, Workflows, and Visualflows; Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices; Experience in overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of software releases in Salesforce technologies; Experience with release management and environment management, sandbox refreshes; Experience with release and deployment standards; and Software troubleshooting experience. Salesforce- Platform Developer 1 Certification (required)
TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE:Reports to company office in Tampa, FL. Option to work remotely or telecommute up to 60%.
SALARY: $170,000 per year
