The Engineering Technician IV - Semiconductor will be responsible for providing customer support for onsite installations, repairs, and maintenance of photolithography semiconductor equipment primarily in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a pre-production environment, enabling new processes. You will undergo training for a period of 1-3 months in Austin, Texas or Hillsboro, Oregon and will be required to maintain flexibility in your work schedule due to a compressed work week.

Skills

Proficiency in electrical or mechanical engineering principles Knowledge of Linux operating systems for troubleshooting Hands-on mechanical and electronic testing skills Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with optical, lasers, robotics, and precision mechanical skills is a plus Responsibilities

Check and maintain equipment within factory standard specifications Instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of system equipment Serve as a liaison with customers on assigned projects (installations and component replacements) Perform complex repairs and maintenance according to factory procedures Provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries Identify and report equipment errors to aid in troubleshooting Maintain accurate documentation of activities and provide periodic reports Conduct training for customer personnel on service and operations Collaborate with other technicians for troubleshooting and servicing equipment Qualifications

Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience (technical training, military training, or technical school) 5-7 years of related experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the field Experience in customer support is a plus Must be able to travel and work flexible schedules Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment Education Requirements
