join our team in El Segundo, CA. This is for a newly awarded
5 year
program supporting the
Space Sensing Directorate of the USSF
.
In particular this role will provide support
to the ML with acquisition planning for the SRT (ISR) Program.
Space Sensing
is one of five SSC program executive offices and is responsible for delivering space-based MW/MT/MD capabilities; space based environmental monitoring (SBEM) capabilities; and other tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities, ensuring end-to-end mission integration.

dependent upon customer requirement. Clearances required range from

TS/SCI **

What you will do...
Support
Materiel Leader & Deputy
in all aspects of
program strategy, execution, and business operations.
Provide support
to the ML with acquisition planning for the SRT (ISR) Program.
Provide acquisition consulting to review program solicitation documentation, such as
acquisition strategy
,
systems engineering plan
,
IMP, IMS, and CDRLs
for adherence to policy/guidance.
Ensure consistency in implementation of its acquisition strategy, technical approach/requirements,
acquisition policy/guidance, milestones, forecasts, and risk assessment
.
Drafts content for acquisition reporting, strategic communications, and higher-headquarters tasker's responses.
Support contracting actions, Statement of Work (SOW) writing, competition analysis, and operations acceptance.
Support in the execution of resilient space sensing architectures, acquisition documents, technology demonstrations and product development to ensure compliance with technical requirements on the contract.
Provide technical acquisition and program planning in evaluation of space sensing program solicitation technical documentation, System Engineering Plan, Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, and contract deliverables for compliance with DoD and SSC policies, guidance, and instructions.
Assess whether acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, capability documents, and solicitation documents are accurately reflected in the technical aspects of the programs as defined in the system engineering plans and technical requirements documents, compliance standards and all applicable management plans.
Collect, analyze, store, and distribute acquisition “lessons learned” from SSC and other organizations to promote increased efficiencies, timeliness, and effectiveness.
Provide agile methodologies for Program Management and Software Development efforts including support for agile coaching, PI planning and required training (e.g. DevSecOps, CICD, SAFe) to support agile acquisition approaches. (CDRLs A003, A004, A005)
Participate in formal program reviews. Provide findings and updates to Space Sensing leadership and assist with briefings up the leadership chain.
Skills you will need...
Education and Experience Requirements:
BA or BS degree
5+ years’ experience in DoD acquisition logistics, system life cycle management, sustainment, and transition
Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000 series)
Integrated Life Cycle Management (AFI 63-101/20-101)
Familiar with Microsoft 365, SMART, IDECS II, FM- Suite, EDA, CCaR, PIEE and other DOD systems
Familiar with USSF program repositories and products such as launch manifests, procurement plan, acquisition strategies, and communication plans/strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
MS or course work in military acquisition logistics
10+ years’ experience in DoD SATCOM acquisition logistics, system life cycle management, sustainment, and transition
RFP documentation development
Depot activation
Supply chain management
Technical Orders
Professional certifications such as
INCOSE
DAWIA
Certifications, such as Program Management Level 1, Life Cycle Logistics Level II
MILSATCOM space operations
