We are seeking a 1st shift welder/fabricator to help complete complex stainless steel jobs for clients. Daily responsibilities will include reading welding blueprints, distinguishing welding call outs, determining component layout, TIG welding, occasional MIG welding, finishing work, and secondary operations.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret welding blueprints.
- Distinguish welding call outs.
- Determine component layout.
- Perform TIG welding, with occasional MIG welding.
- Carry out finishing work and secondary operations.
- 4 years of TIG welding experience.
- 3 years of Stainless Steel TIG welding specifically.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience with MIG welding.
- Experience with fabrication and layout of components.
- Must own personal welding helmet and gloves.
- Must own personal welding tools (mostly metric).

Work EnvironmentThe shop is a large fabrication shop that specializes in stainless steel components supporting the food production industry. The position is for the 1st shift, from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
