Company DescriptionAuto-Chlor System is now hiring an HR Intern in Mountain View, CA. The schedule for this position is flexible, working part-time or full-time in office. This position starts as soon as possible.

What you will be doing:
- Provides support to the HR Department by serving as the first point of contact to employees and vendors, forwarding and escalating issues as needed to other team members.
- Conducts new hire 30-day check-in surveys, status and exit interviews, compile interview data, file and forward as necessary.
- Conducts new hire orientation calls and tracks completion.
- Copies, files, scans paper and digital documents, maintains and updates files as necessary.
- Deploy and track completion of company-wide trainings.
- Gathers and prepares documents for audits, subpoenas, and other file requests.
- Provides back-up support to the national recruiting team including scheduling pre-employment drug tests and background check screenings.
- Assists with preparing employee correspondence, change requests, HRIS password resets, and employment and salary verification requests.
- Provide backup support for front desk including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, preparing for meetings, among other tasks.
Successful candidate criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of previous work experience, preferably in a customer facing environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy, ability to double check data.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be organized and flexible, able to change direction as needed.
