Job Title: Production Worker | $20+HR | 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker for the 2nd or 3rd shift. The role involves inspecting automotive component parts for defects, trimming components as necessary, and packing parts according to specifications. You will work with a team of 1-4 operators and assist with material changes and paperwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect automotive component parts for defects as dispensed from injection molding machine.
• Inspect 50 parts per hour, each weighing under 5 lbs.
• Work with 1-4 other operators on the line.
• Trim component parts if necessary and prepare them for packing.
• Pack component parts according to packing specifications.
• Help with material changes as needed.
• Complete paperwork for defective parts.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience standing for 10-12 hours at a time.
• Experience using hand tools such as hammers, knives, and screwdrivers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, forklifts, and power tools.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, and machine operation.

This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for raises. Once hired directly, employees receive a 50 cent raise, with an additional 25 cents after a year. The company has work booked out until 2027, ensuring long-term job stability. The dress code is relaxed, allowing shorts and t-shirts with closed-toed shoes in the summer, with no requirement for steel-toed shoes.

Work Environment

This is a non-climate controlled environment that is very clean and bright. The 2nd shift runs from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 75 cent shift differential. Currently, the team works 6-7 days a week, with plans to reduce to 6 days once machine repairs are completed. No steel-toe shoes are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.78 - $19.78
