Description
Learn from Ag Partner's experienced staff! We are seeking highly motivated Agronomy Crop Scout Interns at multiple locations for the summer months of May to August. Our internship experience will offer valuable insight into the Agronomy profession through mentorship and real-world experiences.
Requirements
We are seeking seasonal Agronomy Crop Scout Interns at the following locations:
- Ellsworth, WI.
- Goodhue, MN.
- Le Center, MN.
- Stewartville, MN.
Responsibilities:
• Connect classroom agronomic knowledge to the field by being assigned key projects.
• Identify weeds, diseases, and insects affecting crop growth and development.
• Gain experience testing soil and plant nutrients, and analyze reports used to make crop input recommendations with an experienced agronomist.
• Provide first-class customer service.
• Engage in real-life work experiences.
• Attend internship networking and development opportunities.
Qualifications preferred:
• Pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree, preferably in an agricultural related major or program.
• Frequently move, lift, and carry boxes and tools weighing 50-60 pounds.
• Able to work extended hours during peak busy season, including weekends.
