Senior Treasury Analyst

Position Summary:

The Senior Treasury Analyst reports to the Treasurer. Facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting and assists with bank structure management and some risk management activities. Produces reports to aid in the forecasting of cash needs for the business and assists with other Treasury functions as needed. Works cross functionally with the Finance, RCM and Operations teams routinely.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish, monitor and analyze Company's consolidated daily cash position to ensure coverage of all cash commitments and coordinate/optimize the short-term borrowing or investment activity as needed
  • Initiate wire/ACH payments through bank platforms whenever necessary
  • Perform prior day bank account balance/transaction review and report out to management accordingly
  • Adhere to Accounting close schedules for recording of debt and cash activity, all month end processes and all associated journal entries
  • Assist in executing standby letters of credit, export letters of credit, performance bonds or similar instruments as needed
  • Prepare/track daily, weekly and monthly Treasury reports/KPI's as directed
  • Facilitate establishment and ongoing maintenance of all company merchant ID's and associated reporting
  • Work with internal stakeholders to assist in the preparation of weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models, coordinates with teams to identify and mitigate forecast variances
  • Implement cash management services, facilitate the opening/closing of bank accounts, account signer updates and all other updates to banking services and/or mandates
  • Act as Treasury liaison with Company business units in setting up new bank accounts, services and handling of bank inquiries and related matters
  • Provide information in connection with any external and internal audits and monitor cash management activities to ensure compliance with all SOX controls
  • Develop, monitor and analyze schedule of bank fees including credit card and cash management service expenses
  • Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate Treasury/Cash Management best practices
  • Effectively works with and supports internal business partners including Revenue Cycle Management, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax, Legal teams, and IT on projects/other ad hoc requests
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
  • Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
  • Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned during and outside of normal business hours as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Treasury/Cash Management experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
  • Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate.
  • Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.
  • May be exposed to angry or irate customers, patients, or referral sources.
  • Ability to utilize a personal computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 5-10 pounds as needed.
  • Mental alertness and the ability to properly treat confidential information.
  • Physical and mental ability to provide clinical assessments.
  • Requires travel throughout service area and use of personal vehicles.
  • Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
