SEC Reporting Specialist

Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) to be responsible for all aspects of preparing and filing the Bank's annual and quarterly SEC filings in accordance with the SEC regulations. Specific job duties include: preparing workpapers to support the Bank's Form 10-Q and 10-K filings; reviewing and tagging XBRL information associated with the SEC filings; preparing the cash flow statement including workpaper support; preparing the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and SEC financial statement disclosure checklist; reviewing and analyzing schedules for SEC documentation support, and working with other departments to gather and analyze information; actively performs SEC Reporting functions inside of Workiva (WDesk); interacting with other departments to identify changes that may impact our SEC filings; acting as the liaison to the Enterprise Risk Management department for Finance department record retention requirements; and working with Accounting Policy and Legal in researching accounting issues and ensuring current accounting practices are in accordance with GAAP, SEC and other regulatory guidance. Must hold a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Must hold a Certified Public Accountant license. Must know (through academic training or work experience) Providing guidance in the implementation of SEC rules, regulations, and financial reporting; Working with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB procedures and standards; and applying technical accounting and financial reporting standards. May work from home within same metropolitan statistical area 2 days per week.
