Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative at Quore, you'll be responsible for supporting the outside sales team through lead generation for new sales opportunities, as well as within existing customer portfolios. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the hospitality industry or the willingness and ability to become an expert quickly. Your ability to understand how work in other departments affects your role and collaborate cross-functionally will be key in your day-to-day. You'll be partnering with Marketing in lead generation activities, coordinating people and timelines, and continuously learning from others to grow your expertise in Quore's business, product, and value proposition.
This role is a hybrid role and will work in-person 2 or more days a week. We kindly ask that only candidates who are willing and able to work in-person at our Franklin, TN office apply for this position.

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and qualify sales opportunities (new and within existing customer portfolios). Develop strategies to identify decision makers within target customer organizations and hotels.
- Needs Analysis: Identify customer pain points and challenges, providing solutions that demonstrate how Quore can meet their specific needs.
- Sales Pipeline Support: Schedule meetings and presentations on behalf of outside sales team.
- Proven experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role (2-3 years preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Related Field - or relevant experience in lieu of degree
- CRM Experience: Demonstrated experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform to manage and track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress. Ability to leverage Salesforce features for reporting, lead management, and forecasting to enhance sales performance and streamline workflows.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: The ability to manage tasks and schedules effectively and encourage yourself to reach goals and work in a proactively without the need from influence from others.
- Sales Prospecting: Competency in identifying decision makers in target hotels and customer organizations and creating opportunities that will build a healthy sales pipeline in support of meeting goals.
- Curiosity & Problem Solving: Proactively identify customer challenges and pain points and opportunities to improve internal processes. Explore options that best benefit the customer and Quore.
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage with customers professionally, understand their needs, and provide timely, accurate solutions. Strong focus on building trust, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience that supports long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to clearly convey product value and address customer needs.
- Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize formulas, pivot tables, perform data analysis, and generate meaningful insights.
- Industry Experience: Background in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and customer needs.
- SaaS Familiarity: Experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) products, ideally in a sales or client-facing role.
