Responsibilities:
A Hydraulic Systems Engineer, develops and oversees all aspects of hydraulic systems, equipment, and machinery. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Fluid Power field is required. Occasional onsite commissioning and customer presentations is required.

Salary: Starting at $115,000-$125,000
Hours: Business hours - Monday-Friday, standard 40-hour work week with occasional OT.
Direct Hire - Permanent Position/Salary-Exempt
Travel: Less than 10%
Job Description:

  • Develop hydraulic schematics in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in interpreting all aspects of mechanical and hydraulic design drawings and specifications.
  • Develop 3D equipment layout drawings in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Ability to mentor fellow teammates and shop technicians.
  • Interpret mechanical & hydraulic design drawings for electrical requirements
  • Develop bills of materials.
  • Troubleshooting, field testing, and installation
  • Creation of submittals, training instructions, and O&M Manuals
  • Review of project specifications to assure compliance with customer requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of Industrial Hydraulic design.
  • Extensive knowledge of Fluid Power & Industrial Controls
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Able to read and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Valve Controllers.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of UL508A and NFPA 79
  • Excellent documentation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment with little to no supervision.
  • Problem Solving skills required.
  • Ability to interface with shop technicians and provide shop support as needed.
