Travel Rad Tech - $2,272 per week in Keene, NH

Job Title: Technologist Job Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts Every other weekend; 12-hour shifts WEEK 1 Sun 9 AM - 9:30 PM, Thur, Fri 7 AM - 7:30 PM; WEEK 2: Wed, Thur Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting License: NH MIRT REQUIRED. Temporary licenses are available with fast turnaround for those who carry an equivalent state license. Certifications: Must have completed training from one of the following - CPI, AVADE, or MOAB for onboarding and clearance. Must-Have: - Proficiency with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm - Experience with all age groups - Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills - Basic computer skills - Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow - Previous travel experience is preferred Job Description: - Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by the physician - Complete all routine diagnostic procedures - Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance - Operate film processing equipment - Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room, emergency room, or at the patient's bedside - Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff - Follow hospital dress code policies: wear hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual attire with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed-toe shoes, sneakers, or clogs are required. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings. - Must respond to manager reach-outs and adhere strictly to the posted schedule without any accommodation requests - Prepare for potential holiday coverage as needed or scheduled Note: Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered and the candidate must have their own vehicle as there is no public transport in the area.
