Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: Apply after the first call-off per pay period Experience: 1 year of Cath Lab experience required License: FL license required; Pending State License not accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certifications required; COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Must-Have: Siemens scanner experience Job Description: - Cath Lab experience required - Combined Cath/IR unit - Daily caseload per technician: 15-25 - First-timers accepted - Weekend requirements to be discussed in the interview if applicable - On-call required as needed - Will not float within the scope to meet facility needs - No floating required to sister facilities - Open to accommodating block schedule (to be discussed in the interview if applicable) - Locals accepted - No RTO in contract. When applicable, RTO may be discussed in the interview - Special requirements include experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, and upper and lower extremities - Skills required in PACS, portables, contrast, and biopsies - Experience in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, ER, community hospital, NICU, and adult ICU work settings required - Cerner EMR preferred Unit Details: - Neuro consists of stroke, coilings, flow diverters, cerebrals, kyphos, biopsies, and pain management - IR consists of angios, embos, veograms, IVC filters, G & J tubes, vascular lines, nephro and biliary cases - Must be a team player Facility Details: - Type of facility: Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Total staffed beds: 222 - Charting: Cerner - Smoke-free facility Additional Information: - Compliance documents due two Fridays before the Monday start - Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts) - Modules are billable, up to 8 hours for RN and 4 hours for Allied; any time spent on modules beyond the allotted time is non-billable - Modules are completed pre-start and annually; hours vary by specialty
