Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for taking orders, prioritizing them, and ensuring they are processed and out on time. Working as part of a team, you will manage parts, tools, and items on the shelves, scan and count inventory, and ship parts to the correct locations. This role requires attention to detail, ensuring parts are packed correctly and sent to the right address.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prioritize them, and ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with team members to get parts out and put them on shelves.
• Learn and know each product, tool, and item on the shelves.
• Scan parts in, count inventory, and ship parts to the correct location.
• Pack parts correctly and ensure they are sent to the right address.
• Pick parts from the warehouse and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Audit and physically verify all parts are accounted for.
• Inspect parts for damage or rust.
• Package parts according to packaging standards.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically verify all units are accounted for and staged on the dock.
• Unbag, unband, and inspect units for damage.
• Take necessary photos for current outbound shipments.
• Upload photos to the Outbound Quality Inspection form.
• Request units not staged on the dock to be pulled and staged for inspection.

Essential Skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Daily usage of RF scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of packaging standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Openings are available at the West Campus for the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. The warehouse is clean and organized, with a process for everything. The team works well together, and hiring decisions are based on personality to ensure a cohesive work environment. The main reasons for employee termination are attendance and punctuality issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
