Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our distribution center team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing general warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, staging, picking, and packing auto parts.
Responsibilities:
• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a Cherry Picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehousing equipment.• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments.
• Assists with physical inventories, cycle counting, and light data entry.
• Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
• Operate cherry picker and forklift within safety standards.
• Pull orders based on corresponding pick tickets and labels.
• Process warehouse shipments, remove unallocated items from warehouse shipments, check in-bound shipments.
• Cross train in shipping, receiving, inventory, returns, and other departments within distribution center.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must have a minimum of one year of warehouse or distribution experience.• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, hand truck etc.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills to perform required tasks.
• Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, and lift up to 75LBS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to stand for long periods of time.
Shift & Hours:
Monday – Saturday 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
Compensation: $ 18- $19 / hour, based on experience
