Senior HR Generalist

Job Overview
Our client, a leading independent Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company with a rich legacy of over 150 years, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist. This role will report to the Director of HR and play a pivotal part in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, retention, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support payroll processing (experience with Paycor HRIS is highly preferred).
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, offering guidance and solutions in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and retention strategies.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to promote employee growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support in implementing HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives.
  • Address and resolve HR-related concerns with strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience with payroll processing is preferred; proficiency in Paycor HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong background in complex employee relations management.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable, but candidates with logistics/warehousing experience will also be considered.
  • Deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
