Job Summary Description:

Under the direction and guidance of the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for managing the new hire onboarding process from beginning to end. The Recruiting Coordinator’s primary objective is to ensure a smooth and timely onboarding process, including background and drug screenings, driver/DOT compliance documentation and coordinating new employee start dates with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with candidates in the interview process and the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Collect necessary candidate information to administer background and drug screenings.
  • Coordinate with the DOT compliance team for all candidates that will operate company equipment/vehicles.
  • Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of all Federal and local employment laws.
  • Provide timely candidate onboarding updates to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
  • Utilize our ATS system (ADP WFN) to maintain and update candidate records.
  • Assist in the creation and posting of all new positions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal personnel and external candidates, and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail and appropriate use of confidential information.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, and new employee pre-employment screenings.
  • Motivated self-starter with the proven ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Ability to coordinate and several task/processes at once.
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience (preferred).
